ORLANDO, Fla. — Universal Orlando is busy building its new theme park, Epic Universe, which will offer new  attractions, restaurants and shops.

The location will also feature hotels, and although Universal hasn’t shared any details about them, recent trademark filings might provide a clue as to what their names will be.

Earlier this month, Universal Parks & Resorts trademarked two names: Universal’s Stella Nova Resort and Universal’s Terra Luna Resort.

The descriptions provided with the filings indicate the trademarks would be for “hotel catering services, hotel services, provision of conference, exhibition and meeting facilities, resort hotel services and restaurant services.”

In 2021, Universal filed a trademark for the name Universal’s Helios Grand Hotel, however the application was suspended in March of this year.

The official concept art Universal released for Epic Universe back in 2019 shows a hotel at the back of the theme park, but Universal has not said what the name of the hotel will be.

Epic Universe is expected to open summer 2025 and feature themed lands, including Super Nintendo World. Executives previously said the theme park will feature attractions based on DreamWorks and Illuminations intellectual property.
