This morning, buzzing Gold-Certified Nashville-based singer and songwriter Stephen Sanchez took the stage on ABC’s GMA3 for a stripped-back performance of his breakout single “Until I Found You” and interview. Shining in the spotlight solo, Stephen sang into a vintage microphone with a guitar slung over his shoulder, evoking the song’s dreamy bliss.

The performance caps off a monumental month for Stephen. He just unveiled his highly-anticipated new EP, Easy On My Eyes, via Mercury Records/Republic Records. Upon arrival, it debuted at #2 on the Spotify Global Top Albums Debut Chart and #4 on the Billboard Heatseekers Albums Chart. His single that he performed on the show, “Until I Found You,” was recently certified RIAA Gold and vaulted to #76 on the Billboard Hot 100 Chart.

In the press, Stephen has earned widespread critical acclaim. People noted, “Stephen Sanchez is wearing his heart on his sleeve,” going on to proclaim, “Overall, [Easy On My Eyes] demonstrates a side of Sanchez fans have yet to see.” This week, he appeared in a photospread courtesy of Boys By Girls in the UK. He also previously performed the song on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert (performance creative was inspired by Elvis Presley’s 68’ Comeback Special) and Late Night with Seth Meyers.
