PINE HILLS, Fla. – WKMG is hitting the road to Pine Hills, a community rich in history and culture. So far, we have brought you stories from east Orange County, Sanford, Montverde, Kissimmee, Orlando and Melbourne.
For our seventh stop, Pine Hills, we are doing something different. Every time we hit the road, we speak with local stakeholders about their concerns and the stories they think we should tell. When we reached out to the Pine Hills Community Council, Dr. Latanya Nichols, president, asked us to team up with the organization for its “Get Hired and Inspired” event.
The event will include hiring organizations, educational institutions, professional resume preparation, identification and interview training services.
Join us at the Orange County Multicultural Center as we take a look at the people getting results in Pine Hills, neighbors’ concerns and what makes this historic community so special.
