OSCEOLA COUNTY, Fla. – Fifty-three young cattle were allegedly stolen from a ranch in Osceola County this month and a five-digit cash reward is now being offered for tipsters behooved to help serve justice, according to Crimeline.

The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office’s Ag/Marine Unit responded Thursday to Overstreet Ranching Limited along Joe Overstreet Road regarding a report of missing cattle, a Crimeline flyer states.

From Sept. 3 to Sept. 22, around 53 crossbred yearlings weighing between 550 and 700 pounds were taken from pens at the ranch headquarters and mixed with other cattle that were being shipped to market, an operation that authorities believe was conducted by multiple people in multiple trips with a stock trailer, according to the flyer.

The calves were a combination of heifers and steers of various colors, the flyer added.

Anyone with information about the reported cattle theft is urged to give an anonymous tip to Crimeline via Crimeline.org or by calling 800-823-8477. Tipsters would be eligible for a cash reward of up to $10,000, according to the flyer.
